Working With The Law: 11 Truth Principles for Successful Living, by Raymond Holliwell, Part 1

Rita brings us a book that Walt and Linda had never heard of before … from 1939! Raymond Holliwell lived in the 20th century and worked out his understanding of how universal laws work, which he recorded in his book.

His 11 laws are:

  1. The Law of Thinking
  2. The Law of Supply
  3. The Law of Attraction
  4. The Law of Receiving
  5. The Law of Increase
  6. The Law of Compensation
  7. The Law of Resistance
  8. The Law of Givenness
  9. The Law of Sacrifice
  10. The Law of Obedience
  11. The Law of Success

He points out that a good way to understand these laws is to replace the word “Law” with the word “God” in all instances. Linda said, “Energy shifted as I was reading it. We are all one. We are all that God quality, because we are all creators.”

We touch upon the first couple chapters which address what he calls The Law of Thinking and The Law of Supply (and Demand).

In “The Law of Thinking” he uses polarity to illustrate the question of which energy do you want to feed? Do you want to feed fear or love? Do you want to feed dark or light?

Linda quotes from the book. “You cannot feed opposite energies,” Holliwell wrote. “You can only feed one at a time. Which energy do you want to feed?” The one that you feed the most is the one that will come into your reality.

Rita points out that the emotion behind your thoughts is really important. If you want to create abundance or prosperity, you must imagine it and put the feeling behind the imagination.

In the chapter, “The Law of Supply” he describes how when we supply stuff in life, Universal law figures out how to find the market for it. Rita gives the example of Henry Ford and his Model T. Very few people had cars at the time, but that didn’t stop Ford. He just ramped up his production without the slightest doubt in his mind that the demand would manifest.

Similarly, Walt points out that Steve Jobs created the iPhone before there was any demand at all for a smart phone. Most people didn’t even know what a smart phone was! And most had no idea that they would actually want one.

Next week we’ll find out how Holliwell defines the Law of Attraction. It should be fun!
