LOA Daily - Choose Your Identity

Before we started recording today’s episode, Cindie, Jacqui, and Walt were chatting about how we’re feeling a little “off” energy-wise, health-wise, etc.

Well, THAT didn’t last very long!

Jacqui “Act As If” Gates and Cindie “Love And Magic” Chavez set us on the right path from the start.

Jacqui talked about how her granddaughter decided to become her particular brand of superhero, and Cindie chimed in with the Judaic tradition of renaming ceremonies.

This set the stage for talking about leaving “stuckness” and “boredom” and “mediocrity” behind by deciding what identities we want to assume, with the knowledge that doing so actually leads us to becoming that new person in real life.

Walt was so blown away by how much better he was feeling due to this inspiring conversation that he was going to do something he never did.

He was going to play back this episode.

Maybe more than once, in fact!

Luca had an abusive father when he grew up in Italy.

His mother took the unusual step of leaving his father, but it left the
small family deep in debt.

So Luca had to start working to help support the family at age 13.

At age 18, he took a commission job selling advertising for a small,

LOA Daily - A New Year’s Rampage

Anne-Marie and Walt didn’t really intend to do a rampage of appreciation
for our last Monday show of 2021, but it turned out that way anyway.

We talk about the various TYA tools we accumulated this year.

We talk about how we’re seeing life so much differently than before.

The idea of doing New Year’s resolutions really isn’t as interesting
this year because whenever we want to change something we start doing it
right now rather than waiting until the New Year.

And unlike past New Year’s shows where we talked about people who are
struggling or how to deal with holiday blues or whatever, this year
we’re just appreciative … massively appreciative.

It’s a very different feeling!
